Te Kahui Whaikairangi – Learner Success

Our Mission

To provide educational and employment pathways for our tauira and thereby supporting our local industries, community, whānau, hapū and iwi.  We will achieve this by having formal agreements with students and our key external stakeholders who will collaborate with us to support their journey.

Learner Success Objectives

• Attract, retain, and support to successful completion all tauira through innovative educational solutions

• Implement the recently agreed MOU, Manaaki Whanau, Manaaki Tangata with Papakura Marae and BCITO

• Support learner success by focusing in on our EPI results and respond to the required improvements needed to improve our key educational outcomes.

We will achieve this through

focused monitoring, greater peripheral support for learners that live in challenging circumstances, and governance and monitoring of outcomes.

The Benefits

• Supporting community engagement and contribution to a growing local and regional economy.

• Attracting and growing talent in the building industry and Māori and Pasifika communities to support their whānau, hapū and hapori.

• Increased stakeholder confidence and collaborative partnerships.
